Out of the Box Photography {Jennifer} just launched her FRESH FACE CAMPAIGN and wants YOU!!!

Maternity~ in your contemporary/modern home. {between 34-36 pregnant}
Newborn~ boy or girl in your contemporary/modern home. {newborn under 10 days old}
Fabulous Hair & Baby~ dreads, mohawk, super kinky/curly hair. {male, female, single, couple, same sex} {baby not yet walking}

There will be a limited number of sessions for each category.

You may participate in only one category.
You will be required to sign a model release, so I can use your images on my website/blog and possibly in marketing materials as well.

As a participant you will receive a free session and your choice of an 8x10 or 2 5x7’s.

Bearly Thinking

I went to a art/craft show this wk-end, were my mom and a friend of hers had a booth. They named the bears Bearly Thinking. {cute, right?} They will be doing another show this wk-end in Everett. I will post the addy, later today.

Fall/Halloween Mini Shoot

I am so EXCITED to announce that I will be holding Fall/Halloween Mini Session in October! This mini session is great for pictures for your holiday cards, and or for some fun shots of the kids in their Halloween costumes. A mini session is a scaled down version of a full photo shoot. The sessions will take place on Sat. October 10th...I will be announcing the information about the location soon. If we have bad weather, the Fall/Halloween mini session with take place in my home studio.

sign up for a time slot {first come first serve!}
confirmation email with specific park location to meet will be sent out {48} hours prior to event
proofs will be ready for viewing by Wedsnday 10/14

Nick took us to a neat little park down on Alki, that I have never been to before. I thought I have been everywhere in West Seattle. Guess not. LOL I loved that location.

We did a few shots at Nick's school, holy smokes is this guy popular.
And I must give mom Lori a special little thank you for driving the get away car. ;p

Gypsy Fringe Mat

WOW...I had no idea, that these would take so long to make. But it's ok, I LOVE them. I have so many idea running in my head and can not wait to started using them.

I made a large one and a mini. They turned out pretty cool. I tried using my one year old as a model, but she was not having it. So I used my son Cody on the mini. Is he not the cutest?

Maysen had a great time at her birthday party. She has NEVER let anyone hold her, I mean NEVER! The whole entire day she was being held, by people she does not really know very well. She did not cry once. I was AMAZED...

Newborn casting call

Thank you to all of you who inquired about this casting call, I have my baby. ;)

I am searching for a newborn or twin newborns {less then 10 days old}.

I want to try some ideas I have. The shoot will last between 1 and 2 hrs...maybe longer.
We will stop for feeding, diaper changes and mama loves as needed. I am not sure if my ideas will work as I have not yet tried them. This casting call will be a slow moving as I will take my time to get everything just perfect so, I can capture one great image verse 5 alright shots of each pose. I will take additional poses if time allows.

The casting call session will...

*Be free of charge and include 5 high resolution images on a cd {additional images maybe purchased at the regular price}.

*A model release will be required as some or all images will be published.

*Casting call will take place indoors as well as outdoors.

Yep...I'am turning 37 on the 9th. My mom was shocked to see ALL the grey hairs when I pulled my hair back. I hear grey is BEAUTIFUL?

SAD NEWS :(

My camera is acting up, so she needs to go on a little vacation back to Canon for some much needed rest and relaxation, maybe a spa treatment. LOL . She {the camera} will be gone 2-3 weeks.

I will not be booking any new appointments until sometime in May. If you want to book a session in the middle of May, I think we are safe to do so.

I some product modeling I have to get done and will borrow a friends camera to get the job done.
I guess I will have some time to work on Esty.

Look who's turning one

This little dude was my very first newborn session I ever did. He was such a tiny little guy. Now he's such a HANDSOME little man. He was so FUNNY with the cake, I thought he would smash it, smoosh it all over the place. But instead he so very carefully picked one M&M off at a time. The mess you see...I tried to help him...no such luck. lol
